201 East Main St.
1981 – 1982
54,000 s.f., 5-story office building (Remodel & Re-tenanted)
The 201 East Main Building was Centura’s third project, which was acquired in 1982. The existing building was ~70% vacant having lost its anchor, 2-story tenant. Centura and a partner acquired the property for $1.8 million, and added new interiors, HVAC replacement & exterior glazing system. The project was successfully leased to 12% vacancy within 9 months, and then sold. At the time, this building was the tallest building in Norman, Oklahoma, located on the corner of Main & Peters, which was the business and banking center.
